About Me

Based out of Northern Wisconsin, I live with my wonderful wife, 2 dogs, and a cat that plots my death. In 2016, I became inspired after buying my wife a camera to use when we toured Europe. After experimenting with it myself, I discovered a passion for this art form I never knew existed and have been developing my nature photography since.

Over the years, I began to develop a style of intimate landscape and minimalist nature photography. Living in the northern woods of Wisconsin has provided me with ample opportunity to hone my craft by capturing the ever-changing beauty of nature in the simplest of things. I have found that the perspective of seeing from above and below helps to create powerful imagery, which has inspired me to explore drone photography.

I recently received an Honorable Mention in the 2020 International Minimalism Photography Awards, as well as positive reviews from respected photography critics, Chelsea and Tony Northrup. Four of my photos were also chosen as winners of Photo of the Day on Capture Wisconsin.
